Spiral Vessel Collection

Created for Evenline, the 3D printed Spiral Vessels series were conceived of as a way to explore a new material-technology. I envisioned an unbroken line of molten glass building against and upon itself in a guided circular fashion. This process would be harnessed to create three height conditions that define the varied utilities of the set: Low - for a plate condition, Medium for a bowl condition and High for a storage condition. The spiral method is celebrated in the generous plate aspect of each piece and one can follow its path as it builds vertically into the unit walls. Photos by John Bechtold.
